A hearty welcome to all our students for the year 2023-24. I, Jayaprakash Tenginkai, on behalf of the management wish you all a bright year to come. I am very happy to inform you all that our school has completed 52 glorified years in providing excellent education.

A small transitory about the school, in the year 1972, Late Lion Siddanna Yavagal, President of Lions Club of Hubballi had a vision to begin a perpetual project in the field of education. As very few English Medium schools existed and was a need of an hour, he along with enthusiastic members of Lions Club of Hubballi established the school in the year 1972. Melvin Jones Education Society was born under the chairmanship of Late Lion Siddanna Yavagal along with a passionate governing body. Since then, the school never looked back and progressed in quality education.

It's my privilege to brief you that LEMS is unique as it challenges the intellect and nurtures the potential of each student to acquire knowledge, concepts and necessary skills to think, be productive, and responsible citizens. The school aspires for truly secular and democratic values to serve a meritocratic India.

DDifferentiated learning and teaching strategies along with an exclusive infrastructure are at the core of the curriculum. The school has appropriate, bright & airy classrooms, Smartboards in every classroom, Science Lab, Math lab, Computer Lab, Playground, Library, individual building for the pre- primary section, closed Badminton court etc.

Sports has been an integral part of LEMS. This belief stems from the philosophy that learning occurs both inside the classroom and outside of it. Participation in sports keeps young minds and bodies engaged positively and helps to develop sensorimotor faculties. We are soon starting Lions Sports Academy which will give a platform to the young students to excel in the sports that they are interested in.

Our priority is to ensure a progressive, inspiring, stimulating and above all, a happy environment in school. The Board, the Principal and the school management remain committed to this endeavour.
